Carson Lai

Physiotherapist

 

Carson is a graduate of University of Manitoba since 2005.  He has numerous experiences working in the vast field of physiotherapy.  His experience includes working in private clinics, community health, mental health, eldercare, various rugby, football, and hockey teams. 

His areas of interests in physiotherapy are vast and they include sports physiotherapy, stroke, eldercare, as well as working with other professionals with Falls Prevention and Osteoporosis programs.

 

Carson has been trained to deliver accupuncture and the MelioGuide exercise program; a new, innovative and evidence based program designed to enhance bone building and reduce fall risk in independent adults. He is also a member of the Canadian Falls Prevention Curriculum.  

 

Recently, Carson was part of the medical staff for the World University Cross Country Championship 2010 here in Kingston and was hired by Team Portugal to be their team physiotherapist.  He also provides any on site care for Kingston Road Runners Events.
