Physical activity has always been a part of Katie's life. She spent many years of her life as a competitive gymnast. When injury took her out of competing, she turned to coaching, working her way up to coaching at a competitive level for 4 years. After deciding her passion for fitness and working with others would be the career of her choice she began the Fitness and Health Promotion Program at St. Lawrence College and became a personal trainer through Can-Fit-Pro. Her main focus in training her clients is helping them feel good. She achieves this through guiding goal setting, taking interest in clients concerns, likes, and dislikes, and making each program individual to each client. Whether it be an personal session or group class, she strives to make each workout fun, different from the last, and applicable to everyday like. She is tough but understanding at the same time.
